My name is Christoph Distefano and I am happy to welcome you on my personal Blog.

I started this Blog as a reminder to myself about topics that came up in customer projects or private projects during the last months and years. My goal is to explain things more detailed to myself, to organize and structure knowledge about things I learned (mostly the hard way) in passed projects.

I am currently working as a consultant at a mid-size Microsoft Gold Partner company. Most projects I do are related to SharePoint, .NET and other Microsoft technologies, often in a team with consultants from Microsoft  – a great way to figure out how they think! 😉

My technical interests are mainly about developing, infrastructure and business workflows, to solve problems people face during their business hours and to enable them to work more efficient (including more fun) in their jobs. But I am also interested in projects combining IT and electronic, development on different platforms with different languages, mobile stuff and so on.

Most important to me at work is motivation, a great team around me who is willing to expand and share knowledge and a happy customer. To archive this, I try to bring in my happiness, motivation and curiosity.

In my leisure time I love to travel around the world – one of my obsessions. I have been to India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Vietnam, Mongolia, Russia, Cambodia, USA, Canada, Mexico and many more … and there are many more to come! Also I am interested in Mountain Biking, Hiking, Snowboarding and (yeah, not really good in it, but fun to watch) Surfing.

I hope you enjoy my Blog posts. If you have any questions related to the posts or myself in person, let me know! I highly appreciate honest and useful feedback !

Stay Awesome!
